Each year in June, Fairfield Electric Cooperative sends four rising high school seniors to join other students from both South Carolina electric cooperatives and cooperatives across the U.S. for a five-day trip to the nation's capital. Students visit Washington, D.C., to experience the city, meet lawmakers and explore all the sights. The trip is all-expenses-paid by Fairfield Electric.
The 2026 Washington Youth Tour was held June 14-21. The 2026 application is now closed. Please come back to this page in January 2027 for next year's application.
