Each year in June, Fairfield Electric Cooperative sends four rising high school seniors to join other students from both South Carolina electric cooperatives and cooperatives across the U.S. for a five-day trip to the nation's capital. Students visit Washington, D.C., to experience the city, meet lawmakers and explore all the sights.
The trip is all-expenses-paid by Fairfield Electric.
The 2026 Washington Youth Tour will be held June 14-21, and the application is now available. Please note: applications and all required materials are due online by Friday, February 27, 2026.
