Our Mission
Our mission statement is: To provide our members quality energy services at a fair and reasonable price.

This mission provides the foundation for everything we do, from ensuring system reliability to offering programs to help our members increase energy efficiency in the home. But we carry this mission beyond the boundaries of our own business, for we believe that to truly serve our customers, we must also serve our community.

Our Vision
Our Vision keeps us focused on the service we provide and what we want our cooperative to be.

Our vision statement is:  A unified team dedicated to enhancing the lives of our members with safe, reliable, and innovative services.

Strategic Plan

We have developed a strategic plan and identified five goals or areas to improve upon.  They are: Safety and Security, Reliable Service, Financial Stability, Member Satisfaction, and Quality Team.  Objectives have been made to make improvements in all of these areas. Specific action items have been set with completion dates.  The plan will serve as a guide as we work to provide the best service possible.

Because we're a locally owned business, our operation isn't influenced by stockholders or out-of-state interests. In fact, the people who influence our business decisions are the people we serve --- our member-owners.

At annual meetings, our members elect our Board of Trustees, the governing body of our cooperative. We also return excess funds to our members as Capital Credits, one of the many benefits of ownership for which cooperatives like ours are highly regarded.

2014 marked the 75th anniversary of Fairfield Electric Cooperative.  Members share their thoughts on receiving electricity for the first time and a summary of the cooperative's current activities are featured in the 75th Anniversary Video
