Fairfield Electric Cooperative awards eight $1000 Touchstone Energy Scholarships each year to high school seniors whose primary residence is served by FEC. Students are selected based on their scholastic record, community involvement and extra-curricular activities. Touchstone Energy is a nationwide alliance of independent, consumer-owned co-ops. Fairfield Electric and the other Touchstone Energy Cooperatives share the values of commitment to community, integrity, accountability, and innovation.
Applicants are required to submit one recommendation letter from a school teacher, administrator, or community leader.
The 2024 Touchstone Energy Scholarship application is closed and recipients have been notified of their award. Please check back on January 1 for the 2025 scholarship application.
Please note: All finalists will be required to participate in an in-person interview at Fairfield Electric Cooperative.
